K&J Racing was established by Kris and John in 2004 as a way to promote their semi professional small racing team based in the south of Sydney. After years of John driving an E30 M3 and tuning cars for others, in 2014 they embarked on a major project to build arguably Australia's fastest BMW Z4 GT3 replica sports sedan/Sports GT

A sports sedan/Sports GT's  must be derived from a mass-produced car where more than 5000 examples of the model have been built in one year. Naturally, each Sports Sedan must be fitted with a roll cage and include all other safety features and an engine size restricted to 6 litres capacity. These 'wild and winged' Sports Sedans are motor racing's most modified machines. Under most generously broad rules, constructors can build wild and wonderful works of mechanical art that originated from the family car.

The Sports Sedans category is one where freedom of expression is regarded a a legitimate means to an end - and that end in performance, and lots of it.

In 2016 the team will campaign a full season of the Sports Sedan/Sports GT championship, 5 rounds with the key objective to tune the BMW throughout the season to a national level championship winning car. Like many small race teams finances are always tight, K&J Racing are always looking for product, services and financial support. With Motorsport being Australia ’s third most attended sport and on an equal playing field to rugby league, it attracts more than 2.1 million spectators Australia wide with the strongest demographic being the 18-44 age group and that females constitute around 40 per cent of attendees at events.

"The ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) report released and based on 2012-2013 research states that “The highest attendance rates were reported for Australian rules football (16%), horse racing (12%), Rugby League and motor sports (both 9%).”

With television coverage on SBS Speedweek, Foxtel Sport 'Inside Speed' and 7 mate we can offer many businesses opportunities to market their brand through this hi-octane avenue.
